NEW SOUTH WALES 1851-52 LAUREATED IMPERFS COLLECTION. A charming collection on several old- time album pages with almost every item having something rare or unusual about it, includes a 1d vermilion PAIR used in Queensland, 1d claret on vertically- laid paper with 'NO LEAVES' variety SG 50a, 2d ultramarine worn plate PRINTED DOUBLE all over, 3d emerald- green on thick blued SG 69, 6d Vandyke- brown with "WAEES" variety SG 73a, 6d grey- brown (from upper- left corner, a very crisp impression and scarce on cover) on an 1852 front + large part reverse to London; 1854 double- lined wmk 2d chalky blue rare vertical corner strip of three, 3d yell- green with "WAEES" variety SG 87a, several 2d blues from both printings incl one with part marginal inscription & an example on front apparently used on 1 Jan 1851.
